studio day 2 (shooting for final images)
So today is my last day shooting in the studio and its where I intend to shoot the majority of my photos. This time after entering the studio I got this homely vibe and I began to understood this is their place of work and even though everything is scattered about they know where everything is, in todays shooting session I wanted to focus on capturing my subjects facial expression when he is glued into working on songs and also his passion when he is on the microphone. Below you will see my process of elimination to decide which photos I will use for my final images. When analysing I will be focusing on the aspects that follow the them of my project, which is mainly focusing on the uniqueness of my subject and the passion that strives him to make music for his fans.
Contact Sheets
01/01/2019

Above you can see I have created a contact sheet of all the photos I shot in the studio, I will now be making a smaller contact sheet of potential images I will be using for my final six, I feel I obtained some strong images during the session, however I need to eliminate the weaker images from the
process.
Above is a finalised contact sheet, from this I am able to select which photos I think best work well in my final images. Below is a process I use in order to pick out which photos I think are the strongest, I also include a small annotation of writing with the strengths in the photo of what editing I should do to it in photoshop.
From the contact sheet above I decided what photos I was going to be using which allowed me to start the editing process of each individual photo in photoshop, as I have made small notes of what specific things I want to change I can now easily move on to that stage.
